A lot of bolt on neck RG guitars will show complete cracks here from stress, but there is none here.Īt one time It appears, the owner tried the ' D Tuna '. Behind the locking nut, on the back side, previous owner had at some time let the allen wrench slip and it marred the finish, but it was touched up. I want to call your attention to 3 things you might not notice-1. There are very few nicks the size of the lead portion of a mechanical pencil. The tremolo cover and control cavity have very few marks, which is unusual except for floor model guitars at a shop. There isn't enough shirt button marks to call it ' shirt button rash ' Very normal for a guitar that wasn't cased or a careless person. The back of the body, has a very few lighter impressions, & some very minor light scratches, and there are a few scuffs and scrapes. The front of the pick guard shows some pick marks from strumming chords. And its something that you will get to where you don't notice it, just as I do my main guitars. Too much too quick could loosen the binding or in extreme cases, loosen the fretboard from the neck. there are about 3 impressions on the back of the neck which can probably be steamed a little and come right out. There aren't any marks at all on the top of the frets. This guitar has not been played much at all. The RGT models that have sharks tooth inlays are from china/ indonesia. So why isn't more known about these guitars-Later -as I wish to speak about this one. A big step up from the bolt on neck RGs'.

An accident caused the close of my store/s. As a store owner of 25+ years & online 15 years, I know what I am talking about. That said, Always buy USA, Japan, Or Korean made instruments. By now you know Korean made guitars are vastly superior to the current china made guitars. It is strung with a new set of Fender 9's. Or it could go lower-at which time you would want to raise it yourself. Its' an easy thing to do and / But in your humidity zone it might change a little and be higher,so you may want to leave it as is. So again remind me if you wish to have the strings raised. The dime also raised the string on the `12th. So I got a dime, the thinnest coin in the USA. I picked up a penny and it raised the string-Big ' E ' at the 12th fret. First I used a nickle-it raised the strings a lot. So: I just did a test to see how low the action is at the 12th fret.

My process is a very unconventional one,the original idea came to me at age 13-14 and I have continued to refine it for years, but it always works. I get a bit of extra business because people will want their guitars set up much lower than factory specs and I am known to guys who like that. I have guitars that play really low but this one holds the record.

Its an easy thing to do to raise the strings height. If you want me to do this, just let me know when you buy. However if you pick hard, pull up on the string, or want to chicken pick a lot, The action will need to be raised. But out of the 1000's of guitars I have set up /fixed, none have ever played this low-every where. It has a fully bound neck which continues around the entire head stock and which is always easier and faster to play for most people. I wish to speak about how this guitar plays. Hello, here is a wow guitar, sound and action wise.
